This extended diagram illustrates the process of creating templates for data in ADX, including the possibility of manual entries and application-provided values. Each template consists of a template name (context) and a description. The template includes data fields, each linked to a signal type. Each data field includes a signal type and, for each source, a SignalID with the same signal type. ADX is the database that contains all information about signal type, SignalID, and source. In addition to SignalID, a data field can also be a ‘manual entry’ where the user can input values manually, or it can receive values from an application that calculates based on ADX data.
