# Has Scope Policy • AI Agent SDK

> has_scope_policy: Whether an operator scope policy is configured.

> This is a method of the [**GatewayConfig**](../classes/GatewayConfig) class in the [**config**](../modules/config) module.

Whether an operator scope policy is configured.

When False (the default), every authenticated client is granted all
scopes — preserving the original binary auth behaviour.
