Instructions
Your assignment for this week is to determine how you are going to execute a solution for your Wicked Problem. Our vehicle for this is to develop a business model using the business model canvas template.
Write a 5-7 page paper using the business canvas model as an aid in identifying key implementation/execution issues for the solution to your Wicked Problem. The paper should be double spaced, in 12 point Times New Roman or Arial font and have 1″ margins top, bottom and sides. Any citations should use APA format. In addition to the narrative you may have up to two (2) pages of optional exhibits. Any citations may be listed on a References page(s) which does not count against your page limit.
Your paper should include an introduction which briefly describes your Wicked Problem and your proposed solution. Each of the nine (9) building blocks of the business canvas should be discussed in the body of the paper including Key Partners, Key Activities, Key Resources, Cost Structure, Value Proposition, Customer Relationships, Channels, Customer Segments and Revenue Streams. These building blocks should be addressed by answering the questions posed in the on-line lecture. Additionally, where applicable, you should address environmental sustainability and any digital strategy involved with implementation of your solution. Your conclusion should integrate your responses to the building blocks and highlight particular implementation/solution execution challenges that you foresee.
The business canvas does have building blocks for cost structure and revenue streams. While you should address the questions in those blocks to the best of your ability, you are not required to prepare a detailed financial analysis or forecast of your Wicked Problem solution. For these two blocks, you may apply your best qualitative judgement along with any rules of thumb or general data you may have identified in your research that bolsters your responses to these two questions.

M4: Tribe Talk Outline (Assignment)
Instructions
Based on our Wicked Problem Summary, Project Plan and Execution Plan, we are now in a position to outline our Tribe Talk. This outline will guide the development of our presentation. This paper may be bulleted or in a narrative format depending on your personal preferences.
For this assignment, you will develop a detailed outline for your Tribe Talk. What portion of the 12-15 minutes do you anticipate each portion of the presentation will take?
Be sure to address the following items:
Introduction to Wicked Problem: What should we tell an audience to introduce them to our problem and “capture” their interest? Why is this problem important? Why should they care?
Problem Statement: How should we describe to an audience exactly what our problem is? What are the limits of our problem?
Current Situation & Impact: What is the background of this problem? This portion of our talk describes what the situation is with your Wicked Problem and who is impacted. The paragraph should be both qualitative and quantitative.
Discussion of the forces and factors which drive/influence your Wicked Problem. What key factors, or forces, drive the problem. Is there a root cause, or several root causes, of this problem?
Potential Approaches to Solving Your Wicked Problem. Discuss the various approaches (if there are more than one) that you are considering (or have considered) and how they will affect the factors driving/causing your Wicked Problem. Which solution have you selected? Why? What is the Value Proposition for our approach?
Execution: Based on your execution plan, what are the key resources and activities we need to perform.
